I'd Like To Join A Group

One of the best ways to develop and cultivate diverse relationships is in small group experiences. Threaded Groups are designed to provide diverse, transformative small group experiences that inspire relationship, reconciliation and collaborative action among the diverse Body of Christ.

Threaded Group Semesters for The Journey

With The Journey, each Learning Group consists of 10-12 people who work through our ten-week Threaded curriculum. The group's frequency and location will be determined by the facilitator(s). If you are interested in facilitating, get the curriculum today.

Groups will start in September 2023. Sign up information coming soon.

"Let's Talk Race" Group Class

Let’s Talk Race is a five-week, introductory class on racial ideas and concepts. Each class lasts an hour and a half each week, via Zoom.

Each week you join others who want to learn how to have these important conversations. We will discuss what the Bible says about race, the history of race, and how it was created. We will also discuss culture and ethnicity and how to answer to the ever pervading question: what can I DO?

Light Homework is required each week with resources that will help you dive even deeper. You don’t want to miss this opportunity.

Our small group curriculum, The Journey, is designed to be experienced as a diverse group. Sometimes that can be difficult to pull together on your own. Every group needs facilitators. If we don't have facilitators, we don't have groups. Here's a few things you should know about Threaded Facilitators...

  • Facilitators are in groups to learn just like everyone else in the group.
  • You don't need to be a teacher/expert on racial dynamics.
  • Facilitators are not alone. We are with you every step of the way.
  • Facilitators have access to special resources designed to help you optimize your group experience.

We want to make sure you are as prepared, resourced and supported as a facilitator. We know that conversations around race can be tricky (sometimes even toxic). Our Facilitator Training is designed to help you create a safe and transformative group experience.

Facilitator Trainings typically last a day (morning into afternoon) and can be done for individuals on our schedule or for churches/organizations.

Use the links below to sign up and join us for one of our trainings this year.

If you already have your group or are a church or organization that will handle groups on your own, we think that's great! We'd love to help you and your church in whatever way we can. If you have any questions, contact us at [email protected].
