The Exchange

A monthly ZOOM roundtable for ministry leaders

Responding to Resistance: April 8 @ 12:00 PM Central Time-

What happens when the resistance to racial justice and reconciliation comes from within your own church?

As we pursue the vision of Revelation 7:9, many are encountering unexpected pushback from their fellow Christians. Yet this tension is not new. In Luke 4, even Jesus faced resistance in His hometown after proclaiming good news to the poor and oppressed.

At this Exchange, we’ll explore how to remain a prophetic witness—responding to resistance with both grace and strategy. Together, we’ll consider how to lead courageously, stay anchored in love and truth, and navigate internal conflict without losing sight of God’s reconciling mission.

We’ll also hear from Dr. Eunice Hong and Dr. Harry Li, ministers serving in multi-ethnic churches, as they share wisdom from their own experiences leading through pushback.

If you’re feeling the weight of leading in this moment, you’re not alone. Come be encouraged and equipped for the road ahead.

For he himself is our peace, who has made us both one and has broken down in his flesh the dividing wall of hostility by abolishing the law of commandments expressed in ordinances, that he might create in himself one new man in place of the two, so making peace, and might reconcile us both to God in one body through the cross, thereby killing the hostility.

Ephesians. 2:14-16
